In our first two terms of 2026, the students wrote up to 10 short pieces, practicing various techniques such as dialogue, inner monologue and adding an element of surprise. Or we chose topics such as ANZAC Day or “king”, and it was fabulous to see the imaginative interpretations that came forth.

I thank everyone for their hard work and willingness to share so much with each other, and look forward to more joyful writing during the remainder of the year.
