It is with great sadness that U3A Altona has received the news of the recent death of Clive Patti. He is remembered as a wonderful music teacher and his leadership of the Electric Guitar and the Acoustic Guitar groups will be greatly missed. Clive, his wife Cheryl, and the U3A music groups made perfect use of the stage area and hall at Beryl Hevey Centre not only for music lessons but for regular voluntary concerts and performances. Clive could always find clever musicians to put on a show for charity.

Clive was Western Suburbs born and bred and very proud of it so he was well known everywhere in the west. U3A remembers Clive as a “people person” with a positive attitude and a great sense of humour. He was very supportive of Altona U3A and especially of the way the committee operated.
