It was with much sadness that members of Altona U3A said farewell on Friday 6 December to our vibrant member Wannee McGregor, who passed away suddenly on 19 November at the young age of 70.

During her five years as a member, Wannee was always at events, with a friendly smile for everyone and ready to lend a hand, no matter what needed to be done. She was always the person at events to gather everyone together for a photo opportunity.

Our thoughts are with her husband, Lance, and their family during this time. While Wannee will be sadly missed by many of our members for her enthusiasm and caring for others, she will always be remembered for what she brought to Altona U3A.
